Sooo busy...I got 2 projects on my hands. Both are website designs with flash elements. I already finished one website. The client was extremely happy with the finished product....and i have 1 more to go...and last will be my jewelry line website. I will give away a piece here on my blog. As well i already chosen two blogger that will receive jewelery from me.

To do the PR for the jewelry collection is a hard job. But i learned as I go..And rejection is always there no matter what..but that don't bother me ..everybody has different style and taste... As i always say....there is a passenger for each train...

I have sent out business propositions to many companies (wont name them as yet) ..so i keep positive !! I will most likely by the end of this year to hire a jewelry PR who works with celebs.

Hey guys...This time of the year i am most busy.. i do my annual closet clear up..following with a garage sale..Balancing between my family , my business , my hobbies is not an easy job...But i manage somehow...

Ok.. enough!!

I saw this image on google images.. And I totally forgot to save the blog it was on..

Anyhow, I got inspired ..And I decided to start working around the house.

I am very good with designs..As Ive in the past decorated two multi million dollar homes.

About executing the handy work , also great with it. I paint... re-grout..learned even to install wood floors...lay grass.. For the rest I can get/hire someone..

Back to the image.. How pretty the dark fabrics look...? And the flowers just pop!!

Once i stayed at this amazing villa now named KAIKALA.... It was home of 6 months ..And now has gotten an amazing Face lift.The whole estate is renovated...i got excited when i found out ...the place now look amazing...

As you know Banana Republic is my favorite store..i shop mainly from there...Second Favorite store i shop from is J. CREW.. and I occasionally go to Kenneth Cole, but their women selection is very small.

I think is silly taking pictures in the fitting room...but.i snapped 2 photos anyways..

I just loved these cargo leggings from Banana Republic... i can wear them anywhere...even when we go fishing :)

most comfortable flat...they did not had my size..but i put an order for them!!!

I loved this purse.. but i could not figure out how to open the bag..

So yeah, i bought the cargo leggings... they are greenish...i dont know why the photo looks brown..

I bought this shirt, in live is really pretty..and there are buttons on the back..perfect weekender shirt or for work... I also got 2 dresses.They were on SALE...and the much needed black pants..

I also went to Bath and Body works.They had the annual sale , so i stocked up on body wash, hand soaps, candles and home fragrances. I bought less since I still have tons of lotions ...

Mango, Litchy and Beries Smoothie

Honestly , I've got tired of mango....and Litchi or Lychee.

My neighbours, who are so sweet have been bringing me fruits every other day. I made pies, pancakes,mouse, cakes,smoothies ,ambrosia and even sorbets.

It was so much that I end up deep freezing some more...

I decided to make Coconut Shrimp. I am not a big fan of the shrimp...

I gave in since its with coconut, it takes that shrimpy smell/taste away...

This recipe is perfect addition to my menu..Excellent finger food for any cocktail party.

I serve it with pineapple chutney , which i forgot to picture

Its extremely easy to make it... I found the recipe online..I minus the Cheyenne spice..

But with Orchids, I have hard time , they never live in my hands... They said Orchids are the easiest plant to take care of..

I love crepes... i used to make them when i was attending the University...There are so many options with crepes, because Crepes can be a Hors d'oeuvres or a wrap on the go....or for a dessert.

In my case here i make them as desserts...I also began catering them and other desserts like baklava, kataifi, baniza..and others.. People love them.

For me and the adults in my family i made crepes with yummy berries and with a splash of Appleton rum.It gives an amazing taste. Also I put other ingredients to slow cook with the berries.

The other option was with nutetla and bananas. To make it fun , i toped them with sprinkles...

You can make them with whatever you feel like ...

ahhhhh Je taime Crepes..

I eat the ugly ones... :)

My basic Recipe

6 eggs , 1 1/2 cup of whole milk, 1/2 cup of flour , 1 1/2 vegie oil, and pinch of salt.

Butter as well for the pan...

Past few days , people around US have been having outages. First was ATT and their 3g network...but how come different people in different parts of the country also suffered outage on their ATT home service .... So lets move on... past ATT problems, COMCAST have been suffering outages...again in different parts out the US.

What would cause it?

The only thing that comes to my mind is magnetic storm . When Magnetic storm occurs it could disrupt satellites, cell-phones and GPS devices....

But what we don't know??

I've always thought that people log onto Facebook to show off. Pointless status' and way to many pictures. I especially dislike when someone does a photo shoot of themselves in their bathroom with the lens pointed towards their bathroom mirror or sitting in their car and they take about 50 pictures of themselves, and then feel the need to upload every single photo.

Today, June 15, 2011, will bring a spectacular, and rare, total lunar eclipse that will be visible all across the Eastern Hemisphere, from start to finish in some places, which is a real bonus for avid sky watchers and the general public alike as not all eclipses of the Moon are so conveniently timed. So, with the eclipse being visible all over such a wide area, what can one expect to see, skies permitting.

At first glance to people not familiar with astronomy, the phases near totality may not look that different than any thin crescent Moon, except that the thin crescent is high in the sky and not near the horizon. However, the other partial stages produce some strange looking Moons that cannot be seen at any other time.

When the Moon first enters the umbra (the dark part of the Earth's shadow), a slight, rounded corner of the Moon will start to disappear into shadow. As time progresses, the shaded, curved section of the Moon will get larger and larger,looking like an unnaturally fat crescent until the Moon nears full coverage, at which point the Moon looks like a familiar thin crescent except for it's high in the sky location. However the real treat comes at totality, or full coverage.

A few minutes before totality, the Moon will the on a distinctly reddish hue. Why? The sunlight coming through the atmosphere is scattered by the particles, both natural and man-made, floating in the air. Result: the most wavelengths of color are reflected away from the Moon, except for the reds, which continue on and fall on the Moon, thus giving it the shade of color unique to eclipses. In total, totality of this eclipse will last a little over an hour and a half, the longest in 11 years, before the Moon starts to move out of the umbra, thus beginning a reverse partial stage.

Now, where to see the eclipse?

The great news is that, since this is an event involving the Moon, the eclipse can be observed from anywhere, even in brightly lit city. However, to get the full impact of the eclipse, traveling out to the country is a good idea. Anyone who has ever been out in a dark field on a moonless night knows how dark it can be and how night seemingly turns to day the moment a Full Moon peeks over the horizon. Well, in a total lunar eclipse, things will work in reverse as the bright, Moonlit sky will essentially become a dark, Moonless night as totality nears. Basically, the effect must be seen to be believed, so try and get out to the country if at all possible tonight.

Today in Publix i saw a woman, probably in her mid 40s.. with very long hair...i think she was a Latin , because in the Latin culture long hair is important somehow.. Anyhow, it looked very ugly on her , made her look not well kept...and somehow it made her looked older than she is .... I think women with long hair look stupid trying to appear younger than they actually are.. True!

I think its true that long hair on older women calls attention to wrinkles and sags and makes them look older. Also a lighter color makes women look younger....so my hair stylist said...

I am also with long hair,in my early 30s...but i feel i am that stage when i should cut it ...My hair grows so fast from all that Omegas pills .I like to take care of my hair and investing in great hair products and dyes. I have long layers...but when its time to cut off that hair???

Supermoon to make closest pass by Earth on Saturday

Supermoon: The moon will makes its closest approach to Earth on Saturday, appearing closer and larger to the naked eye. The last supermoon was eighteen years ago.
"'Supermoon' is a situation when the moon is slightly closer to Earth in its orbit than on average, and this effect is most noticeable when it occurs at the same time as a full moon," Garvin wrote in the NASA statement. "So, the moon may seem bigger although the difference in its distance from Earth is only a few percent at such times." [Photos: Our Changing Moon]
The full moon of March will occur next Saturday on March 19, when the moon will be about 221,567 miles (356,577 kilometers) away from Earth. The average distance between the Earth and the moon is about 238.000 miles (382.900 km).
"It is called a supermoon because this is a very noticeable alignment that at first glance would seem to have an effect," Garvin explained. "The 'super' in supermoon is really just the appearance of being closer, but unless we were measuring the Earth-Moon distance by laser rangefinders (as we do to track the LRO [Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter] spacecraft in low lunar orbit and to watch the Earth-Moon distance over years), there is really no difference."
It was astrologer Richard Nolle who linked the full moon of March 19 to natural disasters. He claimed that this "supermoon" would trigger massive earthquakes, volcanoes and powerful storms when it arrived. But scientists assure that this is not the case. Garvin, for example, said the moon's effects on Earth have been the subject of extensive studies.
"The effects on Earth from a supermoon are minor, and according to the most detailed studies by terrestrial seismologists and volcanologists, the combination of the moon being at its closest to Earth in its orbit, and being in its 'full moon' configuration (relative to the Earth and sun), should not affect the internal energy balance of the Earth since there are lunar tides every day," Garvin wrote.
But while the moon helps drive Earth's tides, it is not capable of triggering devastating earthquakes.
"The Earth has stored a tremendous amount of internal energy within its thin outer shell or crust, and the small differences in the tidal forces exerted by the moon (and sun) are not enough to fundamentally overcome the much larger forces within the planet due to convection (and other aspects of the internal energy balance that drives plate tectonics)," Garvin explained.

Ladies, did we ever think men actually enjoyed seeing us in baby doll dresses? We hoped, but we were wrong: The New York Post has just published a story damning baby doll dresses straight to hell. What is wrong with a baby doll dress? Let me count the ways:

They make you look pregnant.
They make you look fat.
They make you stuff that carb laden piece of bread down your throat which makes you fat!
Men hate them.

Apple Ipod Repair

My ipod harddrive stopped working.......its been sitting around for about a year. My ipod was mostly new... i just took it couple of times to LA Fitness... and then suddenly it stopped working...

I took it to Apple Genius people..they test it and told me that hard drive is dead and need new one...or i can trade it in for 10% discount in future purchase... oh well.. basically was going to cost me about 170 dollars for repair ... I looked around and i could not let go of my pretty new faulty ipod.... so i went home..

I bought a hard drive , identical as the one my ipod has... 80 gig.

I open it , after watching a tutorial on youtube.. it was a struggle.. i broke my nail, my nail polish chipped out...but all worth it.. I replaced the drive and my ipod is working!!!

For the cost of 5 dollars!!!!!

I should work for Apple. :)
